Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júlio Varela took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ricardinho Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Yan Pirani made a huge save. The supporters of RÖK booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Proença in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Júlio Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Marcus Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to S.C. Corinthians Paulista getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Amadeu Porto hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Júlio Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio Viana. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Rodrigues during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgílio Rodrigues hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cássio Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Yan Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anísio Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yan Pirani had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Ricardinho Catarinense's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 36 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Porto. Dedê Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half RÖK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardinho Catarinense to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Adalberto Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Corinthians Paulista and the RÖK players grew even worse after the yellow card. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luiz Fábio Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Castro in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Hamílton Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RÖK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Corinthians Paulista the free kick. Luiz Fábio Viana was a little too slow when Marcus Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. Luiz Fábio Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Castro in the 71st minute of play. Cássio Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yan Pirani having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Dedê Paes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RÖK the free kick. After 79 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Paes. A collision led to S.C. Corinthians Paulista getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dedê Paes hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Paes. Ricardinho Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pirani having to interfere. Ricardinho Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RÖK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
