Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Paulo Albuquerque kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Abud in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleithon Minuhin during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Cleithon Minuhin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Denver Zago charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denver Zago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Albuquerque in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Cleithon Minuhin got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Renatinho de Castro hit a great ball. When Alfredo Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DENVER™'s protests and gave Alfredo Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of America Futebol Clube SP booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes of play, America Futebol Clube SP's Renatinho de Castro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Paulo Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Toninho Pinheiro made a huge save. After 37 minutes of play DENVER™'s Denver Zago was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 37th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denver Zago to maneuver through the defense. America Futebol Clube SP's Renatinho de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Paulo Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Toninho Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Freitas to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, America Futebol Clube SP's Nilton Sanches got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gonçalo de Amorim was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mathias Carvalho. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Souza in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Carvalho. In the 64th minute of the match, Nilmar Freitas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gonçalo de Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristóvão Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nicolas Souza hit a great ball.
