Aguinhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Premier FC the free kick. Luiz Gustavo Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Gustavo Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Premier FC booed when Aguinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Charles Ceresso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. If Cléberson Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Cerezo. Faustão Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Paiva in the 16th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tiago Gabriel Arósio sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Mota. 23 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Paiva came free, but Faustão Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Premier FC's Dadá da Costa, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Premier FC. In the 26th minute, Dadá da Costa made a precise shot to the right of Faustão Gaspar. Aguinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Faustão Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Paiva in the 30th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Zé Paulo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Cléberson Leme fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zé Paulo Bezerra, passed just outside the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Arósio came free, but Zé Paulo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Ceresso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Cléberson Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Bezerra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Ortiz in the 42nd minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléberson Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Bezerra having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Charles Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zé Paulo Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonsinho Paiva was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Leme in the 52nd minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Premier FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Cléberson Leme took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Bezerra. Zé Paulo Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Olívio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Charles Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Premier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes, Arlindo Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguinhas and the Premier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Premier FC booed when Aguinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gabriel Arósio in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Bezerra saved Premier FC from getting behind. After 65 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Arósio made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Dadá da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Premier FC booed when Aguinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Paiva in the 74th minute. Vitório Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Bezerra having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Premier FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Zé Paulo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Leme in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Aguinhas's Cléberson Leme made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goalkeeper Faustão Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Paiva. With a little luck, Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar got control of the ball when Aílton de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Leme came free, but Zé Paulo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Bezerra having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Premier FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aguinhas.
