Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Novaes kicked off to start the match. After 7th play minutes Joga Redondo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Yan Pirani and just under the crossbar into goal. 10 minutes into the game, Adriano Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felippe Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, João Augusto Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, RÖK's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Munhoz came free, but Yan Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Alberto Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Joga Redondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Yan Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of RÖK booed when Edson Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felippe Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Fernandez in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in RÖK's zone, Alberto Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Pirani came out of the goal and Alberto Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joga Redondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juninho Souto got free with Felippe Medeiros in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Joga Redondo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of RÖK's Yan Pirani. Yan Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Joga Redondo made a precise shot to the right of Yan Pirani. RÖK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Alberto Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felippe Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Sena in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Joga Redondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Edson Futebol Clube were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Melo to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Joga Redondo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yan Pirani, 1-5. Francisco Novaes's late challenge caught a Edson Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Novaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Dé Guedes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felippe Medeiros skillfully saved the ball. Yan Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joga Redondo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Alberto Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to RÖK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. João Vítor Loyola hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Joga Redondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Novaes scored 2-5 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Virgílio Rodrigues got a free kick in the 77th minute. Yan Pirani came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Edson Futebol Clube's Alberto Melo. But to his dismay, Alberto Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Yan Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Edson Futebol Clube's Alberto Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. Virgílio Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Joga Redondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yan Pirani having to make a save. Yan Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joga Redondo in the 90th minute of the match. If Alberto Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Edson Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Edson Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
