Maximino Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Wesley having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Maximino Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In-Crivel EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Harriet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Cabral. Lúcio Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Mendes having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Harriet came free, but Yuri Wesley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, In-Crivel EC's Anísio Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 28th minute. Claudinei Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Célio Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Wesley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Yuri Wesley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Harriet in the 32nd minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Yuri Wesley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Almir Faria. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when In-Crivel EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Compostela FSCMZ's Aílton Baptista was substituted for Evandro Bastos. A collision led to In-Crivel EC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Valério de Amorim hit a great ball. Oswaldo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Dantas in the 62nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Lúcio Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Roger Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. In-Crivel EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Wesley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th match minute, In-Crivel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Baptista to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, In-Crivel EC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Trancoso came free, but Claudinei Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Compostela FSCMZ's Oswaldo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oswaldo Trancoso scored 2-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudinei Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Compostela FSCMZ's Yuri Wesley got control of the ball when Kevin López tried to sneak it across the goal line. In-Crivel EC's Roger Amorim suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Remo Alagoano's late challenge caught a In-Crivel EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In-Crivel EC's Carlos Eduardo Vergílio was substituted for Roger Amorim. Maximino Harriet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In-Crivel EC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Compostela FSCMZ had won, even though In-Crivel EC had held more of the ball.
