Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Sílvio Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Luiz Gustavo Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Quadros. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Quadros should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for OSASCO FC.
