Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Tasso got the match started through his kick off. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Quintal in the 3rd minute of the match. Eugênio Monteiro made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Monumento Sports's Flávio da Fonseca. If Paulo Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natanael Sena came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Agua Santa's Frank Rosa. But to his dismay, Frank Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tomé Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gernando Quintal in the 22nd minute. Natanael Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Rosa in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gernando Quintal hit a great ball. Gernando Quintal took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Cosme in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando Quintal. With a little luck, Agua Santa's Tomé Mota got control of the ball when Gernando Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Enrique Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Natanael Sena. Monumento Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monumento Sports's attentive Bunda Brilhante managed to snatch the ball when Eugênio Monteiro made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Abreu. 58 minutes into the game, Gernando Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Tomé Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Agua Santa defense, Gernando Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Mota. The Agua Santa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Mota should have stopped the shot. Paulo Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, one of Agua Santa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomé Mota had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Fiko Violento's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Natanael Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Abreu in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Quintal in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Mota saved Agua Santa from getting behind. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Gernando Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monumento Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Quintal in the 94th minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
