Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Gustavo Braga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Vito Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC - Curitiba's Celsinho Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save AFC - Curitiba from getting a goal against them. Timeteo Bolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Elói Borges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celsinho Vander. AFC - Curitiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elói Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when AFC - Curitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC - Curitiba's Celsinho Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Loureiro in the 35th minute of play. AFC - Curitiba were furious when Gilmar Simão was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elói Borges was the one to do the kick off. Celsinho Vander came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Elói Borges. But to his dismay, Elói Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Luiz Gustavo Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Loureiro came free, but Celsinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Cafu de Souza got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luiz Gustavo Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC - Curitiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timeteo Bolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when AFC - Curitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Vander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Corrêa went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Raphael Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Vander having to interfere. In the 77th minute Elói Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Velloso in the 83rd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Elói Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Celsinho Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TIMETER EC -DMZ- fully deserved thier win.
