Nelsinho Carneiro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Nóbrega got free with Narciso Rocha in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Carneiro in the 8th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Narciso Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Palmeira scored 3-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Pereiras FC's Marcinho de Senna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Rocha. That made the score 4-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 21st minute, Nelsinho Carneiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narciso Rocha. The goal made the score 5-0. In the 27th minute, Enio Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Rocha. Minuim SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Minuim SS's Silvério Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Rocha came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pereiras FC's Enio Palmeira. But to his dismay, Enio Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Moraes during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo José Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Narciso Rocha made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jardel Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. Téo Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Gaspar in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Reynaldo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Enio Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Narciso Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Palmeira in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Pereiras FC's Jardel Nóbrega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 10-0. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Enio Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Narciso Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Reynaldo Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minuim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pereiras FC's José Carlos Bezerra was substituted for Silvinho de Queirós. In the 63rd minute, Luís Guilherme Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Narciso Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Narciso Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Marcelo Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Narciso Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th match minute, Minuim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Trancoso came free, but Narciso Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Pereiras FC's Jardel Nóbrega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. 94 minutes in the game, Jardel Nóbrega dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nelsinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Rocha having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Pereiras FC's Marcelo Batista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. Pereiras FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
