The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Luz got free with Cauan Arce in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elder Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cauan Arce. Cauan Arce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Afonsinho Munhoz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Cauan Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Luz in the 39th minute of play. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Guimarães in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Arce came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Cachoeirinha's Frederico Gomes. But to his dismay, Frederico Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
