After 8 minutes Mala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zeca Soeiro who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Gildo Albuquerque to score against Vladimir Neves in Mala FC's goal. 0-1 after 8 minutes. The audience was convinced that Zé Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Neves was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Ortiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, Gildo Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Ortiz came free, but Vladimir Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. Percy Berger replaced Victor Lira. After 32 minutes Mala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Despite this Vladimir Neves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zé Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vladimir Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Neves having to interfere. In the 48th minute Zé Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Ortiz to make the kick off. A collision led to IGUIPORÃ FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Álvaro Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Washington Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Gildo Albuquerque got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Berger in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Carlos Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antônio Carlos Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antônio Carlos Abreu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With his leg Vladimir Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Ortiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zé Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Neves having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Ortiz got free with Vladimir Neves in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Dante hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Zé Ortiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Vladimir Neves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mala FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Peres got free with Vladimir Neves in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Peres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 91st playminute. In the 96th minute Zé Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded IGUIPORÃ FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mala FC.
