Clemente Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 秦鸿云 went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Denílson do Nascimento hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Célio Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rui de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Encanto's goalkeeper Rui de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Peres. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Costa during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Encanto got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Costa. 34 minutes into the match, Encanto's goalkeeper Rui de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Peres. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Encanto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dinei Peres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Encanto getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Romeu Mesquita hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Dinei Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui de Mendonça. Encanto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinei Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

Célio Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Peres in the 75th minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Rui de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Encanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 秦鸿云 to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Varela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 秦鸿云 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 89 minute of play. Marcos Boldrini kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Dinei Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MarquinhosEC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
