Unidade Pinto Louco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bebeto Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Unidade Pinto Louco booed when Pesqueira City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Acácio Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Bebeto Mendes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bebeto Mendes scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Leme's late challenge caught a Pesqueira City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Leme helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Leme hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Enéas Borges made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Acácio Domingues sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Guimarães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dalmo Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dalmo Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Mendes in the 46th minute of the match. Dalmo Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Guimarães to make the kick off. Ronaldo Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dalmo Félix made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Rômulo de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dalmo Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Unidade Pinto Louco's Dalmo Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Unidade Pinto Louco from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Bebeto Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jano de Toledo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Bebeto Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dalmo Félix. That made the score 1-7 in the 69 minute of play. Unidade Pinto Louco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Ronaldo Guimarães scored to the left of an out of position Dalmo Félix, making the score, 1-8. With a little luck, Unidade Pinto Louco's Dalmo Félix got control of the ball when Ronaldo Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unidade Pinto Louco's Dalmo Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Unidade Pinto Louco from getting a goal against them. Dalmo Félix didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 1-9. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
