Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristian Pernambucano made the kick off which started today's match. Gilson Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Júlio Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Duarte's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. If Valdomiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Luís Fabiano Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Valdomiro Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Várzea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Duarte couldn't finish the play. Júlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes Fúria Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aníbal Paes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aníbal Paes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Júlio Porto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessandro Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Romeu Batista came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fúria Futebol Clube's Sílvio Cruz. But to his dismay, Sílvio Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pernambucano came free, but Romeu Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Valdomiro Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte in the 33rd minute of play. Valdomiro Duarte succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 37th playminute. Júlio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Duarte in the 40th minute of the match. Vivaldo Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vivaldo Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vivaldo Bueno hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Mandrak to make the kick off. Alessandro Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 51st play minutes Valdomiro Duarte shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Júlio Porto and just under the crossbar into goal. 55 minutes into the game, Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 61st minute Valdomiro Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alessandro Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Várzea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Mandrak scored 6-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Celso Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Duarte in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Porto saved Fúria Futebol Clube from getting behind. Júlio Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Mandrak went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. If Valdomiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Duarte in the 82nd minute of the match. The corner led to Várzea F.C.'s Rogério Loureiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Várzea F.C. had won after a very even match.
