The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Suição United defense, Romário MacAlister kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Favoretto. The Suição United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Favoretto should have stopped the shot. Claudinei Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zhi Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Laércio Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Akira アキラ's Josué Lago got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Akira アキラ's Liu Zhi Guang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Favoretto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinei Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário MacAlister, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Akira アキラ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugênio Teles in the 26th minute. Ronaldo MacAlister was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Giorgi Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes Suição United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eugênio Teles who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Akira アキラ booed when Suição United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugênio Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Suição United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Akira アキラ's Eugênio Teles tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Afonsinho Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laércio Torres in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei Favoretto saved Suição United from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liu Zhi Guang to make the kick off. Romário MacAlister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Favoretto having to interfere. In the 53rd minute of the match, Liu Zhi Guang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinei Favoretto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56thth minute of the game Chiquinho Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akira アキラ's Giorgi Mamardashvili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Fernandes in the 59th minute of play forced Akira アキラ's goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Suição United's Chiquinho Bueno to fire away a dangerous shot which Giorgi Mamardashvili despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremias Cunha hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Torres in the 65th minute of play forced Suição United's goalkeeper Claudinei Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgi Mamardashvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Bueno in the 66th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Fred Campidelis put in a rough tackle. 68 minutes into the game, one of Akira アキラ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Akira アキラ:s Giorgi Mamardashvili showed great skill when he stopped Chiquinho Bueno:s penalty. Chiquinho Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Giorgi Mamardashvili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Suição United's Chiquinho Bueno in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akira アキラ's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Suição United's Tiago Gabriel Fernandes got a free kick in the 75th minute. Laércio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Claudinei Favoretto made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Romário MacAlister ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Favoretto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Akira アキラ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
