Narciso Donatello's late challenge caught a SALIMEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Donatello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Narciso Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Giliamsen in the 17th minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Giovanni Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Pepe Giliamsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Giovanni Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, SALIMEN's Matías de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natã Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Pepe Giliamsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gurdurão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adilson Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time SALIMEN's players had a chance to rest. Adilson Brito made a great header on SALIMEN's corner, it was just that Gurdurão's Natã Massa managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías de Sena got free with Natã Massa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, SALIMEN's Natã Massa threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adilson Brito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giovanni Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Santos in the 40th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adilson Brito during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adilson Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Giovanni Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Giliamsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dalmo Santos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match SALIMEN got a corner. Gurdurão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adilson Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SALIMEN's Gustavo Souza to fire away a dangerous shot which Natã Massa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Gurdurão booed when SALIMEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Sandrinho Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natã Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Pepe Giliamsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Sandrinho Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurdurão's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natã Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías de Sena in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fernandinho Cruz hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
