Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nelson de Queiroz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 3rd minute of play. Basílio Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pirajiba's attentive Rodriguinho Alvarenga managed to snatch the ball when Eurico Palmeira made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Gaúcho in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajiba's zone, Raúl Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Cosme came out of the goal and Raúl Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mathias Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Cosme was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Sydney Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirajiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floripa Lions FSCMZ the free kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Raúl Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodriguinho Alvarenga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Mathias Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Basílio Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Mathias Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes, Luisinho Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirajiba and the Floripa Lions FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pirajiba getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Luisinho Alcântara hit a great ball. Pirajiba's Basílio Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Guimarães in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mathias Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Gaúcho in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Gaúcho in the 43rd minute of play forced Pirajiba's goalkeeper Basílio Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Raúl Guimarães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Pirajiba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floripa Lions FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Raúl Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. Sandro Falcão hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Mathias Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Sandro Falcão got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's goalkeeper Basílio Cosme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Guimarães. The supporters of Floripa Lions FSCMZ booed when Pirajiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Cosme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Guimarães in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Mathias Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Floripa Lions FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Moura. 97 minutes into the game, Jonas Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
