In the 4th minute, Angelo Di Maria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarlet Speedster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Claudinho Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Arantes in the 8th minute of play. Zézinho Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Christopher Reeve hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Eurico Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Weeke. 21 minutes into the match, Jonas Moreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evaristo Siqueira, 2-0. In the 24th minute of the match, Delfim Valadares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evaristo Siqueira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. John Weeke hit a great ball. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Floripa Lions FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 43 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's John Weeke made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Siqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raúl Guimarães made a kick off. Claudinho Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Valladares in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Enrique Valladares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Evaristo Siqueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the game, Enrique Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scarlet Speedster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floripa Lions FSCMZ the free kick. Enrique Valladares hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Jonas Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute John Weeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cícero Moura fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floripa Lions FSCMZ's protests and gave Cícero Moura a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Valadares in the 83rd minute of the match. Evaristo Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Valladares went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Enrique Valladares hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Scarlet Speedster had played much better football throughout.
