Fausto Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gonçalo Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Senna was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Sanches got free with Carlos Eduardo Chaves in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a huge save. Leonel Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's Leonel Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Eduardo Chaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Samuel Souza sent off a good shot on target. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Lima in the 27th minute of play. Roceira SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gonçalo Lima in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gonçalo Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Diamantino Senna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the match, Fausto Vimaro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Couto to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Oscar Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Samuel Souza made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Eduardo Chaves. Roceira SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Vimaro in the 61st minute of play. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Couto in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Fausto Vimaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roceira SC the free kick. After 64 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Vimaro. Gonçalo Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Diamantino Senna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Eduardo Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Souza went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Sanches in the 80th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fausto Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Futbol Club RRFV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Roceira SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
