A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ademar Mazza hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Vânderson Camargo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Camargo in the 31st minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Jonas Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, José Pedro França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jonas Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonas Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edílson de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jonas Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel do Valle in the 37th minute of play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rei Messi was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Gabriel do Valle got free with Jonas Pombal in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, José Pedro França reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas Pombal. The goal made the score 1-6.
