The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. Corumbaense F.C. made a substitution. Amadeu Velloso replaced Sandrinho Maranhense. 58 minutes into the game, José Pedro França recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias de Azevedo. José Pedro França showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. FPRMZ's Jeremias de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Camargo in the 81st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Luiz Fabiano Neto put in a rough tackle. 83 minutes into the game, one of Corumbaense F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeremias de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Velloso in the 88th minute of the match. Vânderson Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias de Azevedo having to make a save. FPRMZ's Flávio Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
