The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Manfredo Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Breckenfeld came free, but Rony de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Zonta in the 9th minute of play. Rony de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Zonta's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Manfredo Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rony de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Breckenfeld came free, but Rony de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rui Moreira hit a great ball. Rony de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Breckenfeld came free, but Rony de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Cordeiro in the 26th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Rony de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Manfredo Breckenfeld put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Rony de Medeiros. Denílson Faria hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rony de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Cordeiro in the 38th minute of play. Manfredo Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rony de Medeiros. Rony de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor de Sena made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Edorta Quintas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izaltina FAD and the Clube do Remo MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edorta Quintas hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Clube do Remo MZ's Durval Pitta tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's Carlos Fernando Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rony de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 61st minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Rony de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Enrique Zonta in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Clube do Remo MZ made a substitution. Mário Maia replaced Wanderson Cordeiro. 74 minutes into the game, Osmar Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izaltina FAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube do Remo MZ the free kick. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Maia in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Clube do Remo MZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Izaltina FAD.
