Severino Maia made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luís Gustavo Botelho however managed to control. 8 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Silvinho Britto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robinho de Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute Los Hermanos CIMZ were awarded a corner. Bebeto Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Lucas Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 31st minute of play. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Britto in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Britto in the 34th minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nova Venécia-ES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Manoel de Lara scored to the left of an out of position Robinho de Salles, making the score, 1-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvinho Britto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Tavares in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Nova Venécia-ES got a corner. Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Gustavo Botelho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Dário Secco drilling the ball in to score 2-3 behind Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper. When Los Hermanos CIMZ's Silvinho Britto in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Venécia-ES's goalie prevented a goal. Silvinho Britto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho de Salles having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Britto in the 83rd minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Robinho de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho Britto's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A collision led to Los Hermanos CIMZ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jeferson Arantes hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Manoel de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3.
