An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Paranaense in the 41st minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Paranaense in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 59th minute, Thiago Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Clemente Cunha hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sandrinho Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sacode Football CIMZ. Vito Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Goiano in the 65th minute of the match. Sandrinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Berger in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Paranaense. Kaká Goiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Pedro Luís Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Berger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AF CERRADO had won after a very even match.
