Dadá Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amauri Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Massa having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Dadá Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Eurico Peixoto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dadá Massa. Eurico Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dadá Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 27th minute of play. Diogo Marquez hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dadá Massa having to make a save. Dadá Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Peixoto in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dadá Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eurico Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Quiroga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Terra to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eurico Peixoto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amauri Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dadá Massa having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ana Da Costa in the 52nd minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Quiroga F.C. got a corner. Ibis Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elivélton Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Quiroga F.C.'s corner Elivélton Cunha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Acácio Vasco quite easily take care of the ball. Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Veiga in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Peixoto in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Massa saved Quiroga F.C. from getting behind. If Amauri Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Eurico Peixoto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dadá Massa, 0-2. When Raphael de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiroga F.C.'s protests and gave Raphael de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. Dadá Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eurico Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibis Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Quiroga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tony Marques. Ibis Football Club played a much better game than Quiroga F.C. and deserved their victory. The Quiroga F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
