Bastioes EC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Castanheiro SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agostinho Reis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bastioes EC's corner Agostinho Reis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedrinho Guimarães quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute Kauan Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Pena didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Castanheiro SC's Kauan Rezende shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 82 minutes Castanheiro SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agostinho Reis who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Castanheiro SC's goalie and right to Anselmo Paraíba. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Castanheiro SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bastioes EC's Douglas Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 91st minute of play. The Bastioes EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Castanheiro SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Castanheiro SC.
