Grêmio Prudente's Álvaro Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Juan Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Zé Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Recife struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Aílton Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Prudente. Zé Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Batista in the 28th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aílton Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Álvaro Travassos got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Álvaro Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aílton Tróia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aílton Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Travassos in the 37th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aílton Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Grêmio Prudente's Cristiano Recife made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aílton Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Relyn Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grêmio Prudente were winning 0-2.

Aílton Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Travassos in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aílton Tróia. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Aílton Tróia made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Zé Peres sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th play minute Arlindo Luz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aílton Tróia. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Recife in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aílton Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Grêmio Prudente getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cristiano Recife hit a great ball. Relyn Futebol Clube's Aílton Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Travassos in the 77th minute of play. If Jeremias Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Azevedo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Travassos came free, but Aílton Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Relyn Futebol Clube's Aílton Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grêmio Prudente's Álvaro Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
