The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dedê Vaz lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. Gugu Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Faria in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goiás Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cauã Guerra was slow to take the kick. During this time Bizard FC's players had a chance to rest. Gugu Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Faria in the 21st minute of play. Isaltino Seco made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luisão Amorim. If Umberto Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Giovanni da Rocha got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes, Bizard FC's Cauã Guerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Paraense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bizard FC reached it. When the final whistle sounded Goiás Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bizard FC.
