An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger do Valle in the 5th minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger do Valle scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carroll Hathaway, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Gerber in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jean Veloso hit a great ball. Albert Hidegkúti spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Zemantauskas FC's goal. David Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carroll Hathaway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Roger do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Carroll Hathaway. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha got control of the ball when Albert Hidegkúti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zemantauskas FC's Renato Nascimento quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filip Bykowski, made in the 45th minute of the game. Valdir Ortiz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Zemantauskas FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oséias Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Zemantauskas FC's Roger do Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carroll Hathaway. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Hidegkúti in the 58th minute of play. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Sipo EC's Oséias Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Renato Nascimento's late challenge caught a Sipo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, one of Zemantauskas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zemantauskas FC. Zemantauskas FC:s Sílvio Penha showed great skill when he stopped Oséias Gerber:s penalty. In the 69th minute, Oséias Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Filip Bykowski with Rodolfo Porto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Hidegkúti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bykowski. If David Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sipo EC were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Zemantauskas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oséias Gerber took the corner. Sílvio Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Hidegkúti went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Hidegkúti in the 93rd minute of play. Sílvio Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Hidegkúti's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Valdir Ortiz hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sipo EC had played much better football throughout.
