Alfredão Brasil's late challenge caught a Buritama Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Alfredão Brasil got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Edgard Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Naldo Félix. Inter Gala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Gustavsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Félix. Inter Gala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Ove Gustavsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Baptista in the 29th minute of play. Edmundo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Gala's Reinaldo Dracena. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 36th minute Edgard Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Giovanni Linhares hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes, Inter Gala's Flavinho Vasconcelos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter Gala reached it. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Sílvio Luís da Silveira got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Dracena notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo. Edmundo de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Celsinho Amorim was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edmundo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Queirós hit a great ball. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Baptista in the 60th minute of play. Inter Gala's Naldo Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Massa in the 63rd minute of play. Naldo Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 65th minute of the match. Buritama Sports's 孔翔沙 was substituted for Sandrinho Massa. Naldo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Furlan in the 71st minute of play. Naldo Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Inter Gala were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Buritama Sports's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavinho Vasconcelos took the corner. Edmundo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Gustavsson came free, but Naldo Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孔翔沙 in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 91st minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Naldo Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Félix having to interfere. The long shot by José Augusto Medeiros in the 95th minute really tested Edmundo de Toledo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Umberto Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Naldo Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Inter Gala players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Buritama Sports from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
