Jonathan da Fonseca was a little too slow when Osvaldinho Baptista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 40th minute Michel Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Batista in the 89th minute of the match. Jonathan da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio França charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Neves got free with Naldo Félix in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
