Dalmo de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Caio Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos da Bahia Fc. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Raphael Paes hit a great ball. Jacinto Aparecido was a little too slow when João Freire got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Freire got free with Jacinto Aparecido in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when João Freire sent off a good shot on target. Santos da Bahia Fc's Jacinto Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Santos da Bahia Fc from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo de Barros. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jacinto Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos da Bahia Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alin Cucerdean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Alin Cucerdean took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Aparecido. Jacinto Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.
