Sérgio Paraense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Katarínus Orange showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Katarínus Orange to make the kick off. Hermínio Carvalho made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Galo Orange. In the 53rd minute, Frank Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
