Cahyo Rantung charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cahyo Rantung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Cahyo Rantung. Michel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Er Håland in the 7th minute of the match. After 8 minutes Independente FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rok Roll who took care of the corner kick. After 12 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Cahyo Rantung. If Er Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Er Håland came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Er Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Er Håland in the 18th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Er Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Rony Dudu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Er Håland in the 22nd minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Er Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rok Roll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Rony Dudu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Er Håland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Gröhe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Dudu came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Rok Roll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Er Håland managed to get in a good position for a shot. TaTeRo Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Er Håland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gröhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nilson Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independente FC's protests and gave Nilson Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. TaTeRo Boys's Marinho Perez was substituted for Cyryl Imbor. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Nilson Duarte got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rony Dudu was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Er Håland in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Gröhe saved Independente FC from getting behind. TaTeRo Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rok Roll in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's Masao Tachibana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Gröhe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When TaTeRo Boys's Er Håland in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independente FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edinho Secco hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Rok Roll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Cahyo Rantung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Er Håland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Gröhe was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 62 played minutes Rony Dudu rounded Independente FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. TaTeRo Boys's Reynaldo da Fonseca was substituted for Rony Dudu. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endrik Halland in the 67th minute of play. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endrik Halland in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Reynaldo da Fonseca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Gröhe. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endrik Halland in the 85th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Halland in the 88th minute of the match. Fernando Lucas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Er Håland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endrik Halland, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Er Håland got free with Marcelo Gröhe in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Reynaldo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TaTeRo Boys played a much better game than Independente FC and deserved their victory. The Independente FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
