Sandrinho Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Edvin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Cunha came free, but Edvin van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Edvin van der Saar managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Orlondo Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Edvin van der Saar made a huge save. Edvin van der Saar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulão Freire showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Edvin van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Tribos 4EVER booed when Militros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Tribos 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Figueiredo. Sandrinho Cunha struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Edvin van der Saar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. In the 25th minute Gustavo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Pollmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerd Pollmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Pedrinho Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, Militros F.C.'s Paulão Freire made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvin van der Saar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Paulão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandrinho Cunha got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sandrinho Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gerd Pollmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Militros F.C. made a substitution. Wanderson Valencia replaced Paulão Freire. When Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tribos 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Gol got free with Gerd Pollmann in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wanderson Valencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Saar having to interfere. Cristiano Faria's late challenge caught a Militros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Faria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Wanderson Valencia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvin van der Saar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Tribos 4EVER's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
