Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Joel Catarinense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Joel Catarinense notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert. José-Luis Chilavert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chucky Norris got free with José-Luis Chilavert in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Catarinense in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Luis Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demetrio Cannata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Chaves having to make a save. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Galo do Japi's attentive Ranko Toko managed to snatch the ball when Senen Tartales made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Joel Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Galo do Japi fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 42nd minute of play. Delfim Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Jardel Cabezon made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Falcão Duarte hit a great ball. Jardel Cabezon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José-Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucky Norris in the 61st minute of the match. Delfim Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 64th minute. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Kylian D Agostino pulled a muscle in his back after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of EoDu Uai Sôccer booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean Cardoso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Delfim Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 79th minute. Galo do Japi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
