After some careless play in the Queluzito defense, Sérgio das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério Donatello. The Queluzito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Donatello should have stopped the shot. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Luís Fernando Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías de Senna in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Berger in the 25th minute of play forced Queluzito's goalkeeper Valério Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Queluzito's Valério Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Romagnoli in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gilberto Massa hit a great ball. Luís Fernando Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Turgut Zor in the 44th minute. After the first half Merusca F&P - CIMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Turgut Zor made the kick off in the second half. Valério Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Berger in the 51st minute of play. Valério Donatello made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Sérgio das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fernando Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías de Senna in the 53rd minute of play. The corner ended in Erasmo Moreno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Luís Fernando Pirani did a great save. With a little luck, Queluzito's Valério Donatello got control of the ball when Sérgio das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Pitta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The Queluzito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Merusca F&P - CIMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
