The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Placido Garin hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Diego Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cordario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Oliverio in the 9th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Placido Garin. 11 minutes into the game, Tacheros OFF's Fabian Pitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Tadzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Melo in the 14th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Zeledon Oliverio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fidel Tadzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Oliverio came free, but Fidel Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Valentine in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Guaberto Valentine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Tadzio having to interfere. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Tadzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Melo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Tadzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the game, Tacheros OFF's Faustão Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Tadzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Melo in the 53rd minute of play. When Tacheros OFF's Faustão Melo, in the 53rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tacheros OFF. Fidel Tadzio made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Guaberto Valentine sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Guaberto Valentine recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fidel Tadzio. Guaberto Valentine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. If Guaberto Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. In the 77th match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Costel Dijmărescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guaberto Valentine scored 0-8 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Tadzio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute of the match, Benigno Horado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fidel Tadzio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Placido Garin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Orlanda during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Valentine. Tarmo Ollonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tacheros OFF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
