The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sobera in the 3rd minute of play. Higinio Bastia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. Higinio Bastia hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Calvet in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Amador Gabrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fidel Tadzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Diego Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia 1903's protests and gave Diego Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anacleto Sobera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Tadzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Gabrio's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Vladimiro Osasun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio got control of the ball when Anacleto Sobera tried to sneak it across the goal line. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Abastas in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Victor Abastas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fidel Tadzio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfonso Patrido charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Patrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Sobera in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Diego Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cordario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia 1903's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Anacleto Sobera scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Tadzio, making the score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Gabrio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Anacleto Sobera put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fidel Tadzio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Patrido in the 57th minute of play forced ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Hugo Cedro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Donato Lano got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Astor Manilan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Tadzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 71 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Sobera came free, but Fidel Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Estevez during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Juan Estevez. Fausto Savier hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Alfonso Patrido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Tadzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Savier's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Academia 1903's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Abastas took the corner. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Victor Abastas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fidel Tadzio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Carlomagno came free, but Fidel Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB fully deserved thier win.
