Saul Joanes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gogo Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Orlan having to interfere. Alejandro Birjaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Bertol in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Salamon got free with Alejandro Birjaio in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, C.A. Identidad Soberana's Braulio Lizar got a free kick in the 36th minute.
