Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Tano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Genaro Ulizes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Gudesteo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Gualterio Abeita's late challenge caught a Habsburgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Tano got free with Gaudencio Gudesteo in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Julian Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Habsburgo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18 throughout the match.
