The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeronimo Ixaka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Santiago Gau made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Los Triperos F.C.'s Robustiano Mateus got a free kick in the 8th minute. Francisco Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Los Triperos F.C. defense, Francisco Dominic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Manny. The Los Triperos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Manny should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Benigno Ilazki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Manny. Los Triperos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Ilazki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, Marco Erasto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ivan Manny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Los Triperos F.C. booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Francisco Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Millrick hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ivan Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Celestino Curcio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. Celestino Curcio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ivan Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Beltza in the 39th minute of play. Marco Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivan Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Beltza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Mainumby were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Honorato Omero made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Benigno Ilazki hit a great ball. In the 54th minute of the match Fidel Florin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Gau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Isaac Urtungo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Manny. The goal made the score 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, Los Triperos F.C.'s goalkeeper Ivan Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Omero. Los Triperos F.C.'s Ivan Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Urtungo in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Armando Beltza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mainumby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Beltza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Los Triperos F.C.'s goalkeeper Ivan Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Omero. Ivan Manny came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Mainumby's Honorato Omero. But to his dismay, Honorato Omero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After having played for 71 minutes, Honorato Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mainumby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Omero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Los Triperos F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Evelio Orzaize hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Francisco Dominic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Manny, 0-6. Mauricio Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Los Triperos F.C.'s Ivan Manny got control of the ball when Honorato Omero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Los Triperos F.C.'s goalkeeper Ivan Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Beltza. Armando Beltza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Ivan Manny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute, Honorato Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Los Triperos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Millrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mainumby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
