Placido Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Loiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Cheche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Melquiades Loiola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Melquiades Loiola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Placido Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrique Oso took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Santana. Placido Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 35 minutes into the game, Clason's Melquiades Loiola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Coupon Busters II AR were furious when Flavio Pacorro was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Carlomagno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergio Modestio charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Modestio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Coupon Busters II AR got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Modestio. Fabian Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Clason getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gustavo Telesforo hit a great ball. Placido Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Oso in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Coupon Busters II AR's Adolfo Etxepare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Cheche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Ubarna hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Gonzalo Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Cheche came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Coupon Busters II AR's Gonzalo Crispo. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Crispo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Placido Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Oso in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Etxepare during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Coupon Busters II AR got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Etxepare. A collision led to Clason getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eustacio Timo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Coupon Busters II AR defense, Arturo Quirce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Santana. The Coupon Busters II AR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Santana should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Clason could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Coupon Busters II AR throughout the match.
