Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Orlando Poncio kicked off to start the match. Aldo Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Baldomero Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aldo Carlomagno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Otoniel in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Donato Otoniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Carlomagno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Orlando Poncio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentino de Buenos Aires the free kick. A collision led to C. A. Gral. Lamadrid getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Orlando Poncio hit a great ball. Donato Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bernardo Hori scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billie Serneels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Otoniel to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Joel Heli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Gral. Lamadrid and the Argentino de Buenos Aires players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Donato Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Argentino de Buenos Aires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Otoniel couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Donato Otoniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Carlomagno was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With his leg Aldo Carlomagno managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Argentino de Buenos Aires's Donato Otoniel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cipriano Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentino de Buenos Aires's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Carlomagno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Otoniels short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Aldo Carlomagno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Donato Otoniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes Donato Otoniel could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. Donato Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
