With a little luck, Cremonese's Apolo Ted got control of the ball when Clemente Martino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Melchor Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cremonese's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Marcelino Sayvion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jaime Afonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Clemente Martino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Ted was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Melchor Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Afonso having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Inocencio Fidensio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cremonese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ the free kick. After 30 played minutes Cremonese got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Fidensio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Oinaz got free with Apolo Ted in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ildefonso Savion fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cremonese's protests and gave Ildefonso Savion a yellow card for diving instead. Apolo Ted was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Clemente Martino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Martino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Sayvion made a kick off. If Fernando Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cremonese's Apolo Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Oinaz in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Niva's late challenge caught a ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Niva helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cremonese's Teodosio Niva got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Martino to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Niva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaime Afonso. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Martino in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Ted saved Cremonese from getting behind. A collision led to ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nestor Quilo hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Teodosio Niva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Afonso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Melchor Arias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Afonso was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cremonese players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ.
