The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, one of Granate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 7 minutes into the game, Manuel Oliveiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saturno the free kick. In the 7th minute, Manuel Oliveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Ugaitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Palmquist. Granate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ladislao Columbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Severiano Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Son Downs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Chepe in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Gervasio Osmundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granate's Jonathan Palmquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Saturno getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gaston Indalecio hit a great ball. Ladislao Columbo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Son Downs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Saturno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paolo Ugaitz in the 34th minute. The supporters of Granate booed when Saturno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Remigio Ugaitz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saturno's protests and gave Remigio Ugaitz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Granate booed when Saturno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ugaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Son Downs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Chepe in the 45th minute of the match. Paolo Ugaitz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Columbo made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Serapio. Saturno's Son Downs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Chepe in the 60th minute of play. When Cosme Alonso fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Cosme Alonso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Alonso to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Ugaitz struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Palmquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saturno. In the 71st match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Ugaitz in the 81st minute of play. Son Downs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Palmquist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Saturno's Gervasio Osmundo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The Saturno supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saturno would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
