Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Chepe. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Endira in the 17th minute of play. In the 26th minute Benicio Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Lore hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Joaquin Ezkerra's late challenge caught a Rossobianco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Nunez Endira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Palmquist was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Ladislao Columbo was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Benicio Ruy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Palmquist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benicio Ruy came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Palmquist could save by the left post. 97 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Michael came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Rossobianco failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
