Jean-Marie Pfaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Joachim in the 17th minute of the match. Municipales FC's Lin Wen Shi was substituted for İskender Yörük. In the 61st match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Jakes to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Ederono's late challenge caught a Municipales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Ederono helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Esteban Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Municipales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Mark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marie Pfaff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76thth minute of the game Esteban Mark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brujas KV's Jean-Marie Pfaff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Mark got free with Jean-Marie Pfaff in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Ederono was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Honorato Ederono got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Dante Eleazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Municipales FC's Raimundo Intxixu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Perpinya kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Servando. If Esteban Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Municipales FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
