When Luciano Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Vaqueteros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Cordario couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Cayo to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes Florida Gulf Coast's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bonifacio Patrido who took care of the corner kick. Vaqueteros FC's Bonifacio Patrido was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucio Geofredo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gaudencio Eufemio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Inko in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Seguinus during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Cordario came free, but Lucio Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Vaqueteros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Seguinus in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gabriel Sanchez hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Inko was the one to do the kick off. When Luciano Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaqueteros FC's protests and gave Luciano Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Cordario hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Florida Gulf Coast's Constantino Seguinus got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Constantino Seguinus got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Lucio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Cordario in the 65th minute of play. Israel Botello hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nestor Inko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Eufemio was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vaqueteros FC's Bonifacio Patrido got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Tavio in the 72nd minute of play forced Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Eufemio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Inko in the 75th minute of play. Gaudencio Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Seguinus in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Botello in the 79th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Constantino Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Dominix. After having played for 85 minutes, Bonifacio Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaqueteros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Patrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Botello came free, but Lucio Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaqueteros FC's Gaudencio Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Inko in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
