Jean-Marie Pfaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Gaitano in the 3rd minute of the match. Saverio Cloyo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's Honorato Ederono broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bruno Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Blai in the 13th minute of the match. Remigio Franco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Willy Brown FC's Simon Lucado got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brujas KV's zone, Carolo Rocendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Marie Pfaff came out of the goal and Carolo Rocendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Albino Bidari. In the 29th minute Jacinto Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Pfaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Bernardino Blai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruno Oxarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Willy Brown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Belarmo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Willy Brown FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jairo Belarmo hit a great ball. After the first half Brujas KV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Frutos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Bernardino Blai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernardino Blai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bruno Oxarra made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Bernardino Blai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Oxarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Bernardino Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bruno Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Bernardino Blai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Oxarra. Bernardino Blai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 74 minutes into the match, Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Bruno Oxarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Blai. In the 79th minute, Jairo Belarmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Marie Pfaff was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After 82 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Gurutz. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Honorato Ederono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Bruno Oxarra made a huge save. Willy Brown FC's Bruno Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Felo in the 89th minute of play. Faustino Gurutz charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Gurutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Faustino Gurutz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to Willy Brown FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Melquiades Xabier hit a great ball. Bernardino Blai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Bruno Oxarra made a huge save. In the 97th match minute, Willy Brown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Lucado to maneuver through the defense. The Willy Brown FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brujas KV's performance. The match ended with a win for Brujas KV.
